3 No-Code Design Tricks to Improve Your Squarespace Website

Not everyone is a Squarespace website designer, and not everyone knows how to code. That is the beauty of Squarespace, you can create something truly amazing with little to no code. In this tutorial I will be showing you how to enhance your Squarespace website with just 3 simple elements.

1. Add a Scrolling Marquee Block

This is a fantastic way to show off some of your past projects, testimonials, or even allow your audience to see the brains behind the operation with a “meet the team” section. All are made available through this Squarespace built in feature.

• Use wave effects

• Change direction

• Pause on hover

2. Use Animations

This is super simple and is made available with the Squarespace built-in functions. Simply:

Navigate to Site Styles → Miscellaneous → Animations

• Choose from scale, fade, or slide effects

• Select save and these changes will be made site wide.

3. Add Animated Backgrounds

• Navigate to section background → Select Art

• Choose from a number of different artistic, animated backgrounds

• Adjust colors to your liking.
